Full-Time Communications Officer (911 Dispatcher) 

TYPE:  Full Time

SALARY:  Salary increase after 6 Months employment & 1 year of employment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  No experience necessary, we are willing to train the right person. Applicants must have a high school diploma or G.E.D., and be free of felony and/or serious misdemeanor conviction. Must be willing to work “shift-work”.

The primary responsibilities of this position include responding to incoming telephone calls, answering 911 emergency calls, and monitoring and transmitting information via two-way radio to officers and emergency response personnel. This employee must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work well under intense pressure and job related stress. This employee must treat all information seen and heard in their position as confidential information.
