Police Officer, Park City Police Department

This is a full time position.  Hours/shifts will be assigned by the Chief of Police.

TYPE:  Full Time

SALARY:  The entry-level salary for Police Officer I with no certification or experience is $17.80 per hour. Starting salary may be adjusted based on certification and years of experience.

Non- Commissioned New Hire
Successful Completion KLETC- $1000.00
Successful Completion of Park City Field Training - $500.00
Promotion to Police Officer II (two years after KLETC graduation/certification) - $1000.00
Commissioned Officer New Hire
First Full paycheck - $500.00
Completion of Field Training and Park City Training Period with successful evaluation - $1000.00
Two Years of service with Park City - $1000.00

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

To be considered for employment as a Park City Police Officer, an applicant must:
•       Be a U.S. citizen
•       Be at least 21 years of age
•       Have a valid Kansas driver’s license
•       Have a high school diploma or equivalent
•       Be able to pass an extensive background investigation, polygraph, medical exam, and drug screen.
•       Not have a personal or professional history that would automatically disqualify you for this position
