SALARY: This is a full time position. Hours/shifts will be assigned by the Chief of Police. The entry-level salary for Police Officer I with no certification or experience is $17.80 per hour. Starting salary may be adjusted based on certification and years of experience.

Completion of Field Training and Park City Training Period with successful evaluation - $1000.00
Two Years of service with Park City - $1000.00
To be considered for employment as a Park City Police Officer, an applicant must:
• Be a U.S. citizen
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Have a valid Kansas driver’s license
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Be able to pass an extensive background investigation, polygraph, medical exam, and drug screen.
• Not have a personal or professional history that would automatically disqualify you for this position
• Live within 30 minutes driving time under normal conditions
