SALARY: The entry level range for Police Officer I is between $14.22 per hour with no certification or experienced up to $23.61 based on certification, years of law enforcement experience, military service and education. Police Officer I is eligible for consideration for PO II after 18 months following KLETC graduation and field training, testing, board exam and supervisor recommendation is required. We welcome lateral transfers at PO II level (pay range is $16.36 to $27.15),depending on experience.
