The City of Saint George, Kansas is a rapidly growing and progressively minded community located in SW Pottawatomie County on the Kansas River (6 miles east of Manhattan within the Rock Creek School District) and is one of the fastest growing areas in the State of Kansas. The Police Department (under new leadership since August 2015) has rebuilt from the ground up with integrity, professionalism, and a community based policing philosophy that works with the community rather than against it. We are proactive, but still sensitive to the needs of a smaller community environment. We are looking to expand our ranks with a highly qualified, professional, and community oriented Full-Time Police Officer. This is a newly created position due to the rapid growth within our community.
