The Seward County Sheriff's Office is looking for a motivated individual to fill a full time Deputy Sheriff position. The Deputy Sheriff is responsible for the enforcement of law, maintenance of order, prevention of crime and protection of life and property. The Deputy Sheriff’s position requires a high degree of independent judgment, strong decision making and problem solving. The Deputy Sheriff enforces all federal, state, and local laws while performing patrol duties. The Deputy Sheriff makes arrests, enforces traffic laws, transports prisoners, civil process service, and investigates traffic accidents.
Day Shift (8AM-5PM)
Evening Shift (5PM-2AM)
Midnight Shift (11PM to 8AM)

SALARY: Beginning Salary (NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON YEARS AND EXPERIENCE)
Level entry starts at 16.84
