Applications for a Full Time Police Officer are now being accepted. The qualified candidate must possess a valid Kansas driver’s license, no criminal record or lengthy traffic record. GED or high school diploma required and be certified through KLETC or equivalent state certification would be preferred. Individuals interested in applying for this position should contact the Burrton Kansas City Office.

Hours: Full Time

Salary: Salary dependent on experience. The City of Burrton offers an excellent benefit package that includes BC/BS Health Insurance, KPERS, paid holidays, paid sick leave, paid vacation, uniforms.

Qualifications: Must be 21 years of age with a valid Kansas driver’s license with no criminal history and be in good standing with C-POST, if certified. Must have the ability to perform all required duties. Must be able to pass pre-employment tests including physiological, medical and drug screens.

No Brady/Giglio issues.
