The Colwich Police Department is currently accepting applications for full-time police officer. KLETC Certification is preferred, but all qualified applicants will be considered.

DUTIES PERFORMED: Provide citizen and public assistance, enforce laws and ordinances, performs patrol duties, make arrests, issue traffic citations, investigate crimes and accidents, and other law enforcement activities.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 21 years of age, KS driver’s license, no felony convictions or disqualifying criminal history, high school diploma/GED, certification from KLETC (preferred) (Completion of KLETC full-time academy will be required, Police Academy training will be fully paid.)

Starting salary of $16.50 per hour for full-time, non-certified applicants.
