The Unified Government of WyCo/KCK is seeking to fill several positions for Public Safety Dispatcher (Full-Time) and Part-Time 911 Call Taker for the Kansas City, KS Police Department.
Duties include: Receives citizen’s complaints and requests for services of public safety units; dispatches public safety units to respond to calls and maintains records on each unit in the assigned division.
High School Diploma or GED; Must have excellent communication, listening, and voice skills and be able to effectively deal with stressful conditions. Must be able to type 35 words per minute. Part-Time position includes benefits.
