Requirements:  

• Must be 21 years of age
• Must have good moral character, Demonstrate solid work history
• No criminal background
• Must be able to pass written, physical P.T. & Psychological exams
• New hires receive pay and department vehicle while attending 14-week academy
• New hires with out-of-state certifications may be eligible for Kansas Reciprocity Exam
