Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must have good moral character, Demonstrate solid work history
- No criminal background
- Must be able to pass written, physical P.T. & Psychological exams
- New hires receive pay and department vehicle while attending 14-week academy
- New hires with out-of-state certifications may be eligible for Kansas Reciprocity Exam
