The Ellsworth County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for a highly motivated individual for a full-time dispatcher position. Candidates must be able to multi-task as they will be expected to answer all 911 and administrative telephones, dispatch radio calls and run the state computer system. Strong communication skills and the ability to think fast under pressure are required.  Starting pay is $14.74 an hour but could be higher based on your qualifications and certifications.

Applicants are required to be at least 18 years of age, have a valid Kansas driver’s license, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have no prior felony or disqualifying convictions.
