The City of Moundridge, KS is accepting applications for position of Police Officer. This is a full-time position with a great benefit package, which includes: KPF retirement, paid insurance, dental, sick leave, holiday pay, paid vacation, and all equipment supplied, take home cars (as long as you live within 5 miles of the city) and a new office.
DESCRIPTION: Full Time. Rotating shifts. Regular patrol duties and other tasks as assigned. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
SALARY: Non-certified starting salary is $16.39. Up to $23.12, depending on certification and experience with regular raises.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a United States Citizen, 21 years old by the time of hire, High School diploma or GED, satisfy all requirements as set forth in K.S.A. 74-5605, have or be able to obtain a valid Kansas driver's license, must pass an extensive background check, interview board, psychological test, and drug screen, physical screen and polygraph. Must not have been charged or convicted of domestic violence, no felony convictions(s), including any felony conviction(s) that have been expunged. Kansas Certification is preferred but will train the right person.
