The Rush County Sheriff's Office is looking for a dedicated individual to fill the position as a Deputy Sheriff.  The Rush County Sheriff's Office provides professional law enforcement services to the citizens of Rush County.  All equipment is provided to include a take home patrol vehicle.

TYPE:  Full Time

SALARY:  Starting salary minimum $19.70 per hour for non-certified, certified negotiable depending on experience.  Deputies also have guaranteed overtime each pay period.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

• No criminal history
• No Brady/Giglio issues
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Possess at least a high school diploma or GED -Possess a valid driver's license -Must be or become a resident of Rush County
