The City of Russell is seeking professional and community-oriented individuals for a full-time  911 Dispatcher. 

The City of Russell is situated at the crossroads of Interstate 70 and US Highway 281. As a rural  city, it is our vision to serve as the County’s regional center. This position provides a vital service to our community by working closely with various  emergency services and through coordination of emergency efforts in a multitude of situations.  The employee will be provided on-the-job training with opportunities for certification and  continuing education. Applicants for this position must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D.  Experience is preferred, but not required. Applicants must also establish residency in Russell  County 6 months from hire date. Pre-employment drug screening, job placement assessment,  and a minimum passing score of 70% on the National Dispatcher Selection Test (for non experienced applicants) are required.
