The City of Cheney is now accepting applications for full-time School Resource Officer/Police Officer.

Pay Range (Certified):  $17.43/hr-$29.02/hr with experience/qualifications

Duties Performed:  Work within the USD 268, provide citizen and public assistance, enforce laws and ordinances, perform patrol duties, make arrests, issue traffic citations, investigate crimes and accidents and other law enforcement duties.

Qualifications:  Must have 1-2 years of experience as a police officer.  Must be 21 years of age, valid KS drivers license, no felony convictions or disqualifying criminal history, high school diploma/GED, certification from KLETC(preferred).
