The Woodson County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for the positions of Detective.  A Certified Law Enforcement Officer is required for this position with a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience.

Applicants are required to be at least 26 years of age, have a valid Kansas Drivers License, possess a high school diploma or GED and must be able to pass an extensive background check.  Must be able to work 12 hour shifts, either days or nights, weekends and holidays; with every other three-day weekend off.

Starting pay is $.20.00 base for pay.  Additional benefits include health insurance, life insurance, KPERS retirement, Paid Time Off.
