The City of Osage City, KS (population 2,943) located 37 miles southwest of Topeka, is accepting applications for the position of full-time Police Officer.
Qualifications: K.L.E.T.C. full-time certified preferred.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen at least 21 years old and possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Applicants may be required to pass a physical agility, psychological and oral exams, no Brady/Gigilio violations.

Applicants must pass an extensive background investigation, having no past felony record, domestic violence, D.U.I, or other serious convictions.
Applicants must have a valid Kansas driver’s license and good driving record. 
Full-time certified officer salary range yearly depending on qualifications, plus benefits.
