The Elkhart Police Department is looking to hire a full time Police Officer.  Elkhart is located in the very southwest corner of Kansas, with the Oklahoma State Line being the southern city limits. 

Position- Police Officer, salary is negotiable depending on qualifications, benefits include paid vacation, KPERS, BC/BS Insurance, and other optional benefits. 

Requirements- Candidate must be at least 21 years of age, poses or be able to obtain a valid Kansas Driver’s License, High School Diploma or GED, no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions.  Individual must be self motivated and able to live and work in a rural community.
