The Neosho County Jail is a modern 80 bed facility. Detention Officers work 12 hr. shifts, 7/14 days with every other weekend off. This will most likely be a night shift position once training is complete.

Starting wage is $14.50 plus a .40 night shift differential during the 6mo probationary status. Detention Officer I wage is 15.25 plus a .40 night shift differential.

Minimum requirements: At least 18 yoa, H.S. Diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, successfully pass a background investigation.
