Police Officer, Overbrook Police Department

The City of Overbrook Kansas has an opening for a fulltime Police Officer. Overbrook is a close, tight knit community in N.E. Osage county with a population of approximately 1,150.

Qualified candidates must be at least 21 years of age, and should possess state certification from KLETC or equivalent. Applicants must pass a background investigation, have no felony or domestic violence convictions and have a valid Kansas drivers license. The individual selected must be highly motivated and community oriented.  Traffic, patrol, community policing, investigations and on spot report writing is a must.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour with raises based on job performance.

The Overbrook Police Department is team oriented with the Chief, fulltime officer and several part time officers. The officer selected must move to the Overbrook area within 6 months of hire date.
