Full-Time Police Officer, Caldwell Police Department

The City of Caldwell is looking for a full-time Police Officer to fill a vacancy. Caldwell is  located in Sumner County, with an estimated population of 1,000. The Caldwell Police  Department consists of 3 full-time officers (including the Police Chief) and 2 part-time  officers. Police officers currently work 8-10 hour shifts with varied days/weekends off. All  officers are required to work weekends and Holidays as needed.  

TYPE: Full Time  

SALARY: To be determined based on experience and training. The City of Caldwell  offers an excellent benefit package that includes Health Insurance, KPERS, paid  holidays, paid sick leave, paid vacation and uniforms.  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent required. Valid  driver's license is required. Kansas Commission on Peace Officer' Standards and  Training (KS-CPOST) preferred but not required. The ability to perform all required  duties. Must be able to pass pre-employment tests including physiological,medical and  drug screens.
