Legal and Legislative Updates

This 6-hour block of instruction will provide Kansas Law Enforcement an opportunity to obtain legal and legislative updates that affect police operations and investigations.  By using an interactive, web-based application, participants will engage in classroom discussion on a wide range of topics, including:

• 4th Amendment Kansas Case Law and Police Operations
• Body Cameras and All Things Considered:  Overview of body camera use by patrol, by prosecution, agency policies and current concerns/issues surrounding discovery, evidence and public dissemination.
