  • 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Lenexa City Hall – Community Forum, 17101 W. 87th Street PKWY Lenexa, Kansas

The Kansas Law Enforcement CIT Council is proud to present 'Winning The Battle' by Clarke and Tracie Paris on January 22, 2020.  This powerful and motivating presentation is a very effective tool used to help first responders, police personnel, fire personnel, hospital personnel, military personnel, civilian employees and spouses deal with tragedies commonly referred to as ‘Critical Incidents’.  It is even more effective in helping the same personnel deal with the every day stressors associated with their chosen careers that can and often do result in career-ending actions such as PTSD, depression, cumulative stress, domestic violence, failed relationships, alcoholism, substance abuse and even suicide.

Clarke Paris retired as a sergeant with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department after a 27 year career.  He is the Creator/Producer of award-winning documentary film on Police Stress/Suicide, The Pain Behind The Badge and author of My Life For Your Life (Book on Police Stress/Suicide) and the children’s book Daddy, I Worry About You.  Every paid registrant will receive a DVD of the film The Pain Behind The Badge and a copy of the book My Life For Your Life.

Training will be held at the Lenexa City Hall – Community Forum located at 17101 W. 87th Street PKWY Lenexa, Kansas 66219.

Registration is $40.00 and can be completed though the link below.  Spouses or significant others are encouraged to attend and are free with every purchase of a general admission ticket.  Use the code: Spouse
