Active Shooter Response Training Opportunity to be in Valley Center, Kansas.
The Federal Government and the Department of Education have significantly changed the recommended guidelines for organizations and schools regarding how to prepare, train, and respond to an active shooter situation.
The Valley Center Police Department embraces this new standard of safety preparedness and will be hosting Active Shooter Response Certification Training (ALICE Training) on March 17 and 18, 2020. This certification is a two day train-the-trainer class on active shooter response. Attendees will range from law enforcement, local school officials and area businesses leaders.
