PART 1: Recorded Presentations
Recorded presentations will be made available to approved registrants and must be completed prior to attending the in-person course. The recorded presentations have a quiz that must be completed as a requirement for this course. Recorded presentations must be completed by February 21, 2022.
PART 2: In-Person* Training
February 22 – 25, 2022 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Lunch 12:15 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Nurses, physicians, physician assistants are required to attend all 4 days in-person training. *SART Team Members (Law enforcement, prosecutors, victim advocates, mental health professionals, and other professionals who work with victims of sexual assault) are required to attend Days 1 and 2 ( February 22-23) in person. In-person attendance on Days 3 and 4 (February 24-25) is optional.
Location: Safe Child Center 212 East 5th St., Scott City, KS Masks are required at this location
This course is comprised of recorded presentations and 4 days of in-person training, offering a total of 65 Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) credits. The recorded presentations have two final quizzes that must be completed as a requirement for this course. This course combines the 40-hour Adult/Adolescent course and the 40-hour Pediatric Course into one 64 hour course, which meets the SANE-ADULT/ ADOLESCENT /PEDIATRIC Education Guidelines.
The recorded presentations must be completed by February 21, 2022.
