This is the initial two-week, 80-hour course for all Police Officers, Deputies and School Resource Officers who need to be certified to teach the new D.A.R.E. program known as keepin’ it REAL!
The course will be held over the two week period July 25-August 5, 2022 from 8 AM to 5 PM each day. There will not be classes held on the weekend.
COSTS: The registration fee is $550.00. The Office of the Kansas Attorney General will reimburse each participant's agency $500 of the registration fee upon successful completion of the course.
Note: Officers that are not from Kansas are welcome to participate, however their agency will not be reimbursed the $500.
LODGING & MEALS: The registration fee includes all meals and lodging
