DISTRICT 4 Training
Includes Cheyanne, Rawlins, Decatur, Norton, Phillips, Smith, Sherman, Thomas, Sheridan, Graham, Rooks, Osborne, Wallace, Logan, Gove, Trego, Ellis, and Russell Counties - Members from outside District 4 are also welcome to attend.
This training is being coordinated with the Mid-States Organized Crime Information Center (MOCIC). MOCIC is part of the Regional Information Sharing Systems (RISS) Program. It's mission is to assist local, state, federal and tribal criminal justice partners by providing adaptive solutions and services that facilitate information sharing, support criminal investigations, and promote officer safety. The training will provide information, with demonstrations, on how MOCIC can assist in your investigations.
The training will take place at the KLETC Regional Training Site located at 2101 E 13th Street in Hays. Members attending who are already members of MOCIC are encouraged to bring a laptop, MDC or tablet along with a case file with suspect information for hands on training.
This training is FREE to KPOA Members and lunch will be provided. Non-members may register to attend by becoming a member for $25.00.
This is an excellent opportunity for law enforcement in the Northwestern part of the state to network with one another and suggest other types of training the KPOA could provide in your area.
DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS AUGUST 1, 2022.
