"Ride of Sacrifice"
In Memory of Fairway Police Officer Jonah Oswald
and in support of his family.
This is a fund-raising event in support of the family of Fairway Police Officer Jonah Oswald who was killed in the line of duty on August 7, 2023. Officer Oswald is survived by his wife and two kids ages 2 and 4.
Riders/drivers (if your vehicle has wheels, you may participate) will meet and start the ride from Twister City Harley Davidson, 5427 Chuzy Dr. in Park City, Kansas on Saturday, September 23 at 10:30 AM. The ride will travel up I-135 to Salina where other riders are welcome to join at the Pilot Travel Center, 1944 N 9th St in Salina (I-70 and K-143 Junction). The ride will then head east on I-70 and end at Rawhide Harley Davidson located at 725 N Rawhide in Olathe, Kansas where there will be raffles and food trucks.
Online registration is $20.00 per vehicle. Several law enforcement motorcycle clubs (Punishers, Guns Slingers, Legion of St. Michael) will be participating. The registration fee comes with a ticket for the raffle and extra tickets can be purchased for $5 each.
All proceeds collected will go to the family of Officer Oswald.
