WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Officers, Detectives, Crime Analysts, Investigators, etc.
WHAT TO BRING: This is a hands-on course, students are required to bring a laptop or tablet with internet access.
This one-day course is designed to equip law enforcement officers with advanced investigative skills using Tower Dumps, Area Searches, and Timing Advance technology to effectively identify suspects and solve complex cases. With the end of Google Geofence capabilities, the course explores alternative methods, including cellular data exploitation and integrating modern tools like Connected Vehicle data. Participants will learn the principles of cellular networks, how devices interact within them, and how to analyze Tower Dumps and specialized location records. Additionally, the course covers Timing Advance technology for precise geographic searches, integrating these methods with traditional investigative tools, and ensuring adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.
