This competition is open to law enforcement and civilian shooters.
The KPOA Pistol Match is an all Steel match, and consists of three different stages, Speed Plates, Speed Pyramid, and Line of Steel.
There are five divisions in the KPOA Shooting event.
- Law Enforcement Iron Sights
- Law Enforcement Optics
- Civilian Iron Sights
- Civilian Optics
- Junior Division
All five divisions shoot the same courses of fire with the same rules. At the end of the match, the top Civilian shooter and the top Law Enforcement shooter will compete in a head-to-head shootout to determine the best overall shooter and win the Old Masters Award.
Team Competition
Teams may be formed from 3 competitors of the same division.
The team registration form must be completed during the match registration.
Team members will compete as individuals, with their final total times of all three (3) pistol events being added together as their team time.
Rifle/PCC
The Rifle/PCC is a single-stage event consisting of 25 steel targets, fired from a single shooting position. Rifles must be .223/5.56 caliber, and PCC must be 9mm, 40, 10mm, or 45acp. Sights can be any iron or non-magnified optic. No suppressors.
You will start with (2) magazines of 15 rounds each, for a total of 30 rounds.
The entry fee for each division is $20, with all proceeds going to benefit KPOA
