The City of Ulysses is seeking conscientious, motivated applicants for the position of Police Officer. The Ulysses Police Department is a modern, well equipped agency that serves a population of approx. 6000. Our Department has the opportunity to advance to positions such as Sergeant, Detective, SRO & K-9 Handler.

TYPE: Full Time
SALARY: Starting salary ranges from $34,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year based on experience with paid insurance, paid holidays as well as other benefits.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be a legal US Citizen
- Must possess a valid KS Driver's License or ability to obtain a KS Driver’s License upon hire
- Have a High School diploma or GED
- Possess good moral character
- Cannot have any felony convictions
- Cannot have serious misdemeanor convictions
- Residency within the City of Ulysses within 30 days of employment
