The nationally accredited Salina Police Department is seeking motivated candidates for the position of Police Officer. The Salina Police Department is seeking persons of honor and integrity who possess strong communication skills who can render sound decisions under pressure and are committed to public service. The Salina Police Department has a strong partnership with the citizens of Salina. The department’s 83-sworn members work 10-hour shifts using the highest quality equipment including body cameras, in-car cameras, a drone program, and a new six-million dollar, state-of-the-art regional training center which includes in door range and 300 degree judgment simulator.
Salary/Benefits
Starting Pay $26.17 per hour ($54,434-57,158/yr.)
Benefits include KP&F retirement, shift differential, bilingual pay, EMT pay, educational incentive, specialized training, and GI Bill OJT reimbursement.
