The Marysville Police Department is accepting application for police officer.  We are recruiting for proactive individuals who are committed to public service, which includes participating in community service events, going above and beyond on every call for service, assisting our citizens, and serving as an ambassador for the City of Marysville.  Our department is CALEA accredited and allows on-duty workouts. 

We maintain a high level of professionalism by offering our employees up-to-date training and equipment.  Currently, our officers work 12 hour shifts with every other weekend off. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age by the date of employment.
• United States Citizen
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Successful completion of entry-level test, oral interview, background investigation including a psychological evaluation, polygraph examination, post-offer employment physical and drug screen.

The City of Marysville offers paid single health insurance, a family pool pass, health and dental family plans are available, KPERS retirement, 54 hours of vacation starting after the first year of employment, paid holidays, sick leave, and City paid membership to our local fitness center.
