The City of Haysville is a suburb of Wichita with about 11,500 residents in South Central Kansas.  We are budgeted for 26 sworn officers and provide 24 hour service to our Citizens.

Compensation and benefits:

• Police officers start at $25.75 per hour
• KP&F retirement
• Additional KPERS 457 differed Comp plan is available as well.
• Health, life, dental and supplemental insurance is available.
• Haysville Activity Center Membership

Minimum requirements:

• Must be 21 years old.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Will be subject to an exhaustive background check.
• Must have a clean criminal record.
• Must have a Kansas drivers license, or obtain one within 30 days of employment.
• Must reside within 30 miles of the Haysville City Limits.
