The Harper Police Department is accepting applications for the position of patrol officer. The City of Harper is a city of approximately 1300 people located in southcentral Kansas. The department consists of three full time positions, two part time positions and three reserve officers. When fully staffed, officers will work 12 hour shifts with every other weekend off.

Salary :

• Non Certified $18.00 per hour. 
• Certified : Minimum $19.00 per hour, negotiable with training and experience.

Minimum Qualifications : 21 years of age, HS diploma or GED. No felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions for domestic violence or dishonesty.
