The Rawlins County Sheriff's Office is currently accepting applications for the position of a full time Deputy. Our Office is looking for a proactive and dedicated individual. This position is responsible for performing uniformed patrol duties and enforcing all federal, state, and local laws. Rawlins County has a population of 2500 and 1,073 square miles.

Minimum qualifications: 

  • No Felony or disqualifying convictions
  • No Brady/Giglio issues
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess at least a high school diploma or GED
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to complete Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center within one year of hire. 
  • Must be within Good Standings with CCPOST if previously  Certified.
