Jewell County Sheriff’s Office is taking applications for a full time Deputy position. 

Starting wage is dependent on qualifications. Deputies work 12 hour shifts with every other weekend off. Jewell County pays for full family health insurance. All uniforms and equipment are provided. Take home patrol vehicle. Jewell County pays overtime pay, holiday pay, and weekend shift differential. 

All applicants must be able to pass a medical, physiological test, drug test, and background check. 

Applicants must be free of any Brady/Giglio issues and be eligible to possess and carry a firearm. Will be required to live in the county to continue employment within 90 days.
