Minimum Requirements

At least 21 years of age

High School Diploma/GED equivalent

Valid Driver’s License

No Felony or Domestic Violence charges

Must be able to obtain certification through KLETC (Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center)
Position Salary and Benefits
Police Officer 1:

Built in overtime pay with opportunities for more.

Must become KLETC certified within the first year of employment.

Certified Pay: $22.22 - $32.53 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Work Schedule
Bi-monthly Night/Day rotations, where officers work 12-hour shifts for 7 days in a 14-day period. Including every other 3-day weekend off.

Hiring Process
