As a Police Officer for the City of Hoisington, you will be required to perform all the functions that go with the position. This will include taking calls and writing reports, working accidents, making arrests, and working traffic to name a few. 

The salary will be based on experience, benefits include Blue Cross Blue Shield medical insurance, Paid vacation, and sick, and holiday pay.

Applicants must be 21 years old, have a valid Kansas driver’s license, and no criminal record. High School diploma or GED required. Salary is dependent on qualifications. KLETC certification is preferred but not mandatory. Applicants must pass a background check, physical, and psychological exam along with a drug screening.
