The City of Wamego Police Department is looking for a full-time police officer.  Type: Full time 

Starting Wage: $22.00-$26.00 per hour 

Minimum Qualifications: 

Applicants must be 21 years of age, with a high school diploma or GED equivalency, valid driver’s  license. KLETC certification is preferred. All Kansas Commission on Peace Officers certification  and employment requirements apply. Successful candidates must pass oral interview,  psychological testing. drug/alcohol screening, criminal history background check and additional  job-related testing. Work schedule requires shift work including weekends, holidays, and court  appearances.
