Position Overview
The police officer will perform all essential law enforcement duties, including patrolling, responding to calls, enforcing laws, investigating incidents, and promoting public safety.

Career Advancement & Pay Structure

Police Officer: $23.34 - $32.67 per hour

Master Patrol Officer: $24.96 - $34.95 per hour (for officers who demonstrate leadership and advanced patrol skills)

Sergeant: $28.21 - $39.50 per hour (for those promoted into a supervisory role overseeing officers and department operations)
Minimum Requirements

Certified Kansas law enforcement officer (or eligible for reciprocity)

At least 21 years old

Valid Kansas driver’s license

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must reside within a 30-minute response time
