The City of Overbrook, KS is currently recruiting Certified and Non-Certified Law Enforcement Officers to fill an immediate Part-Time Police Officer position.
Located approximately 20 miles southeast of Topeka, northwest of Ottawa and southwest of Lawrence, the City of Overbrook is a community in Osage County with a population of 1,005. The Police Department is staffed by a full-time chief, one full-time officer, a full-time police clerk and five part-time officers.
* Pay $20.00/ hour after completion of KLETC
$.25 per hour incentive pay for Associate's Degree
$.50 per hour incentive pay for Bachelor's Degree
$.75 per hour incentive pay for Master's Degree
$.25 per hour incentive pay for bi-lingual
$.25 per hour incentive pay for Field Training Officer ($1.00 per hour while training recruit)
$.25 per hour incentive pay for child safety seat technician
$.25 per hour incentive pay for Intoxilyzer certification
$.25 per hour incentive pay for military/honorable discharge

* Yearly pay increase based on evaluation score and COLA pay increase
* Holiday pay paid at 2x for holidays worked
