Lindsborg, Kansas, aka Little Sweden U.S.A., is accepting applications for the full-time position of Police Officer I. Certified officers with 5 years or more of experience can qualify for Police Officer II. A hiring bonus of $5,000 is offered to all current certified officer(s). Benefits include KP&F retirement among others listed below. 

Lindsborg has a population of approximately 3,700 residents plus a private, four-year college. 

Officers will be required to enforce all federal, state, and local laws and ordinance and assists with investigations. Patrol duties include enforcing traffic laws, investigation of crimes, traffic crashes, and providing public assistance.

Officers will be required to exercise initiative, discretion and objective reasonableness when faced with tense and uncertain, rapidly evolving situations.
