The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office is currently seeking qualified applicants for their next Patrol and Detention Academy Classes. We offer a lateral program which allows certified law enforcement the opportunity to use your time to earn higher starting pay up to $33.29 per hour and could qualify for an abbreviated academy. The current positions we have open are:

Detention Deputy: Starting pay $27.38 per hour

Minimum Requirements: 18 years old, High School Diploma/GED equivalent, clean background

Patrol Deputy: Starting pay $27.38 per hour

Minimum Requirements: 21 years old, High School Diploma/GED equivalent, valid DL, clean background
