Minimum Requirements

• Must be of legal age for Kansas Law Enforcement
• US Citizen
• Highschool Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• No felony or serious misdemeanor convictions
• Must Pass background check, drug screening, and psychological evaluation
• Law Enforcement Certification preferred, not requires

Benefits

• Pay $48,000to $50,000 plus Kpers

• 12 days’ vacation and 12 days sick

Duties

Enforce Kansas State Laws, Conduct investigations, serve papers, and attend community activities if on duty. Other calls that come from working at a small 4 man agency.

We have 37 miles of I-70 and we are very proactive, I encourage my deputies to attend their kids’ activities
