Hiring Incentives

  • Certified $10,000      
  • Non-Certified $3,000                      
  • Bilingual Incentive Pay
  • Instructor Incentive Pay
  • Shift Differential Pay

Starting Pay for a currently certified officer will depend upon experience and qualifications:

  • $24.41 - $26.29 for 2 to 5 years of applicable experience
  • $26.29 - $27.62 for 5 to 7 years of applicable experience
  • $27.62 - $29.74 for 7 to 10+ years of applicable experience
  • Bilingual Pay
  • Shift differential Pay

The base starting pay for a non-certified officer will be a combination of the following factors:

  • $22.19 per hour
  • 2% increase in starting pay for prior military experience
  • 1% increase in starting pay for an Associate's Degree
  • 1% increase in pay for a Bachelor's Degree
  • Bilingual Pay
  • Shift Differential Pay

To be considered for employment as a Park City Police Officer, an applicant must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Have a valid Kansas driver’s license
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Complete a Personal History Statement
  • Be able to pass an extensive background investigation, polygraph, medical exam, and drug screen.

HOW TO APPLY:

    • Completing and submitting the Personal History Statement is the STEP ONE in the application process! 
    • There will be no follow-up from the Police Department until you submit a Personal History Statement.

  • STEP TWO:  Complete and submit an application on www.KsGovJobs.com
  • STEP THREE: --- After you submit a Personal History Statement, a representative from the Police Department will contact you with more information about the application process.
