The Coffey County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for a full time Corrections Officer.

Duties will include, but are not limited to, taking care of inmates, booking in and releasing of inmates, transporting to court and doctor appointments, and applying basic medical needs, clean/maintain jail.

Hourly pay could be higher depending on applicant’s qualifications and certifications. Corrections I salary ranges anywhere from $19.16-20.99 an hour plus benefits.

High school diploma or G.E.D. is required. Applicant must possess a valid Kansas driver’s license. Applicant cannot have any felony convictions. Applicant must be 18 years of age to apply. You will be required to pass a physical and a Drug and Alcohol test.
