Norton is located in Norton County, Kansas. Our community borders Nebraska and we are the fourth county east of Colorado. The Prairie Dog State Park (Sebelius Reservoir) is located 4 miles west of Norton, offering great camping, boating and is one of the top fishing lakes in the state of Kansas. The area offers great hunting too!  South of Norton is one of the most highly maintained 9-hole golf courses in the area.  Norton also offers an exceptional school system. U.S. Highways 36 and 283 intersect in the middle of Norton, offering plenty of opportunity for drug interdiction and officer-initiated activities.
